  1. Intelligence is more about fluid than chrystallized. It's not that memory is nothing, of course it's not what i'm trying to say, but... first of all, regardless what you got retrieved you must need be capable to think: analyse, criticise, understand facts to build values. I think many people who exccel in chrystallized intelligence have troubles to think ''in blind way'' while the opposite may be common too. Fluid, not in ''non-verbal'' skills but in reasoning skills, i mean, critical-analytical ones. People who have bigger memories, but not exactly efficiently factual memories [proxy to wisdom/reason] may be more prone to overuse their internalized informations than analyse novel ones, by the two simple facts: it's easier to do; it's the way they are.

  2. Thanks for your commentary, Santoculto. I wrote, in German, that intelligence is the capacity to make inductive and deductive inferences. For example: a person can be quite skilled at memorizing a huge amount of words, but only if he/she is able draw inferences he will truly master a new language. Some kids are quite skilled at memorizing words or sentences, but they are unable to infer from known sentences how new correct and meaningful sentences should be created. They don't lack memory, but the lack thinking power.

  3. Oh. That's really no problem. You don't have to hold yourself back.
