Gewissheit im Handeln / Certainty in Action:

In einer Situation, in manchen Situation, weiß man oft mit 100 prozentiger Gewissheit, was zu tun ist. Woher dieses Wissen kommt, das weiß man nicht so genau. Angesammelte Erfahrung, die einen im Sinne eines Best Guesses dieses Wissen vermittelt: "Das ist mein Tipp, tu' es!"

Diese Gewissheit im Handeln gibt dem Handeln so viel Reiz und Stoßkraft.

(Nach allem, was ich weiß und wahrnehme, ist das jetzt mein bester Zug – also führe ich eben diesen Zug aus.)

In a situation—in certain situations—you often know with 100 percent certainty what to do. Where this knowledge comes from, you don't really know. Perhaps it is accumulated experience that gives you this knowledge in the form of a best guess: “This is my advice—do it!”

This certainty in action gives action so much appeal and momentum.

(Based on everything I know and perceive, this is my best move right now—so I make that move.)
