Moral Disgust - Anti-Social Behaviors:

"As human societies became more complex, the ability to cooperate and live in close quarters with others became crucial for survival. In this context, behaviors that threatened group cohesion (anti-social behaviors) could be as dangerous to collective well-being as physical threats like disease. Thus, the disgust response was co-opted and extended from the physical to the social domain, leading to the development of moral disgust."

"Antisocial behaviors are actions that harm or lack consideration for the well-being of others."

"This includes behaviors such as bullying, physical or verbal abuse, and violence. Aggression can be direct or indirect."

"This involves deliberately damaging or destroying property belonging to others."

"Lack of remorse: Individuals exhibiting antisocial behavior often show indifference or rationalize having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another person."

"In psychology, particularly when referring to Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD), antisocial behaviors are associated with a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others."

"In children and adolescents, behaviors that consistently violate the rights of others or major societal norms may be diagnosed as Conduct Disorder (CD) or Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), depending on the nature and severity of the behaviors."

"From a behavioral genetic perspective, research suggests that Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD) tends to run in families, indicating that genetic factors play a significant role in the development of this disorder."
