Written Thoughts:

Take regularly some time to think about the essential problems or tasks of your like. Thinking with a pencil or a keyboard is often more useful than just thinking in your head. At least if you want to find solutions that will work for a longer time period. By using a pencil or a keyboard the amount of uncertainty regarding your "final statements" can be dramatically reduced.
