"Hypothetically, if you lost your Canadian license to be a psychologist/therapist, could you rebrand yourself as a life coach (or whatever) and have the same conversations with clients? The only reason to be in someone else’s game is for marketing, so people know you are credentialed. “I’m one of them.” Being famous solves for marketing. So in that special case, credentials offer no value to the client, the provider, or the public. Can it be illegal to productively help people by listening and talking? I’ve rewired thousands of people’s brains through my books; did I need a license for that?"
